Chevy Colorado Diesel Water in Fuel Drainage

Removing water from the fuel in your truck is important to maintaining engine health--water in the fuel can severely damage components of your injection system. Water in your fuel tank can also provide an environment for fungi and bacteria to grow, which can corrode fuel lines and rubber components. If the water in the fuel light comes on, you should change your fuel filter immediately. We recommend emptying the water from your fuel system about every 5,000 miles. The procedure is detailed below.

Chevy Cruze Diesel Approved Oil List

Chevy Cruze Diesels, like all other modern diesel cars, require specific engine oil to continue to function properly. Specifically, they need a low SAPS oil, or an oil that is low in sulphated ash, phosphorus and sulphur. For cars with a diesel particulate filter, oils with high amounts of additives can block the DPF.
